Aristotle's LifeAristotle was born in the year 384 B.C. in Stagira, Greece. He began attending Plato's academy at age 17 and started his own school at age 35. He died in the year 322 B.C.

Aristotle's Philosophical Influence On Our Founding Founders

PhilosophyOne of Aristotle's main philosophical concepts was logic. He also said that all knowledge can be put into 3 different groups: Theoretical, Practical, and Productive. His philosophy and ideas helped shape many of the things that we use today.

Aristotle's Impact On The U.S.Our founding fathers used many of Aristotles ideas and thoughts to create our system of government. He believed in "separation of powers" which contributed to the founding of the three separate brnaches of government: Judicial, Legislative, and Executive. Aristotle also believed that the leader should not make the decisions without consulting others.

AristotleHis views and ideas are widely viewed and used by almost everyone in the world has truly shaped our government and life in a positive way. He also believed in power to people which led to our citizens being able to vote on who is in power.


More About AristotleAristotle influenced our Declaration of Independence in a big way. One of these ways was his idea of happiness was that everyone has a right to happiness. This led to our founding fathers putting "The Pursuit of Happiness" in our Declaration of Independence. This led to more freedom and happiness of the people of the United States.
