Arctic Foxes

The arctic fox is a small fox as big as a cocker spaniel. They are 3 ft long and weighs 7 to 20 pounds. The arctic fox's ears have increatible hearing to find food but since the arctic's food is scearce the arctic fox eates anything it can find.

The Arctic Fox has a coat that helps them create a como for both the artic and hot climates. They use the como to catch and eat rodents, birds, and fish but since the arctic can be serce for food, the arctic fox can eat berries if it has to or take food from the last prey of a polar bear.

The arctic fox is endangered becuase of it's dense fur is in very high demand in ice land's fur trade. The fur of the arctic fox is for heat witch can substand up to 60 F and its ears are small and for sound location and can make it look larger.

The arctic fox is very important to the echo system. "WWF works to make sure fragile ecosystems are supported and protected. We mitigate the effects of climate change to ensure the survival of the Arctic fox and other species." Even though fur trade is not as popular as it once was, it is important to protect these amazing little creatures.
