Proper Use

Cause and Effect

If you use antibiotics too often or improperly this may increase drug-resistant bacteria. Antibiotic-resistant bacteria develops as a result of natural adaptations, spontaneous changes in DNA. Bacteria become resistant as they "take" resistant-inducing genetic information from other bacteria. The effects are that you can't get better from the virus that you have because it is resisting the antibiotics. Also it can effect how you go throughout your life.

Do take as directed, don't stop taking it, don't share it, don't save it, Don't pressure your healthcare provider to prescribe Sources cde_antibiotic_resistance_report_2013.pdf Antibiotic resistance wikipedia Antibacterial resistance worldwide: causes, challenges Google

There are four core actions that will help fight these deadly infection-preventing infections. 1) Preventing the spread of resistance, 2) Tracking resistant bacteria, 3) Improving the use of today's antibiotics prescibed by a doctor, 4) Promoting the development of new antibiotics and developing new dianostic tests for resistant bacteria.
