EcosystemsThe African elephant is found in the grasslands of Africa. They live there along with many other animals including the lion, giraffe, leopard, rhino, cheetah, mountain gorilla, hippopotamus, Nile crocodile and the zebra. The African elephant does not have any prey, but it does eat small twigs, roots, fruits, bark, and bushes. The elephant has to watch out for the lion, wild cats, hyena, and humans.
