Although all the houses in ancient india were similar in size and in design. Over the course of several centuries, the Aryans gradually settled down. They migrated into the Indus River Valley and used a new type of language. This language was then used by a lot of people. These languages can still be used in south Asia and the Indian Sub-continent. For thousands of years on the Indian subcontinent, a person’s social class was determined by birth. Historians later called this the caste system. Each caste had a clearly defined role. Members of each caste were obligated to look after one another, so each caste had its own support system.
