Ancient Greek Theatre

The Chorus

Greek amphitheatres were built into the side of hills to use the natural acoustics. The seats were built of stone and even the topmost seat could hear everything going on.

The Chorus let the audience know the information they might have missed. They were a great transition. The masks they wore let the audience know who they were as well as the fact that they were emotionless.
