12-Month CalendarAncient Egypt created the calendar to keep track of time and knew what day it was. The calendar helped them a lot, because they knew when winter, summer, spring, and fall were coming so they could prepare for it. It as well also helped them know what kind of weather was coming.

PaperThe Ancient Egyptians invented the world’s first paper. They made the paper out of papyrus. The stalks from the papyrus plant. They used their paper for scrolls, writing, and other things.
