The ancient Chinese civilization was engaged in military activity since the dawn of warfare. They are one of the world’s oldest and largest civilizations forming around 6000 BC. The ancient Chinese where involved in frequent wars of unification, expansion and defence of their territories. They developed warfare on a advanced and experienced level to meet these demands. China produced massive infantry based armies and navies who battled for control of the great rivers of China.

Gunpowder It was first invented inadvertently by alchemists while attempting to make an elixir of immorality. It was a mixture of sulphur, saltpeter, and charcoal. At the end of the Tang Dynasty, gunpowder was being used in military affairs.NuNu is a semi automatic crossbow that had a feeder on top and a lever near the end that reloaded the crossbow. a trained soldier could shoot 10 arrows in 15 seconds.
