Mummies
Mummies are dead bodies that the egyptians prepare for the afterlife. Egyptians believed that is they preserved a body, the person's spirit would live forever. The Egyptions believed that there were six parts of the soul that were seperated in the afterlife. The six parts were the body, the person's name, a shadow, a ka, (A ka is a double of the Egyptians body that lives forever, but it is often refered to as the soul.) A ba, the personality of the person, and the anakh, the transformed spirit that occurs when the ba and ka are reunited in the afterlife.
