Battle of Bunker Hill:The Battle of Bunker Hill took place in Charlestown, Massachusetts on Breed's Hill between the British and American Colonists. This first major battle started on June 17, 1775.At this the Battle of Bunker Hill, American forces learned that the British were plnning to take over the hils around Boston to gain advantage. Knowing this, the the American troops moved to Bunker and Breeds Hill.They set up and prepared for the battle.The British realized what happened and began to attack. General Howe led charges up the hill, the Americans fought against them. Then another group arrived, and the Americans started running out of ammunition. The Americans fled and the British then gained posession of the hill.

George Washington:One of the most remembered Revolutionary War Leaders was George Washington who was born on February 22, 1732. He was the Commander and chief in the Continental Army to victory over Great Britain. He lead the army across the Delaware River and killed and captured over 900 Hessians. Then in the Battle of Yorktown, Washington led his troops to capture General Cornwallis. Washington and along with his allies, they bombed the peninsula and Cornwallis surendered which ended with another American victory. He then died on September 17,1796.

Molly Pitcher:Molly Pitcher, whose real name is Mary McCauley served our country in a time of need. She did one or two main things that made a big difference. She would carry pitchers of water to the soldiers when they were dehydrated. When her husband and other soldiers were injured, she would help take care of them. Then when her husband passed away, she took his place in war at the cannon.

Uniforms:Everyone's unforms were very fitted and made to fit each ones body. Usually they would have worn a coat, waist coat and a pair of pants. These items would often be the same color. Under their coat, they would wear an undershirt that was about mid-theigh long. They would also wear hats, these hats had three corners and were mainly made out of wool or beaver fur and then dyed to black or white. The shoes were just plain black leather shoes that were secured with either buckles or laces.
