Daytime Temperatures: The average temperature in the Amazon rainforest is 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Nighttime Temperatures: Can be cool. In most areas, temperatures can be 50 degrees Fahrenheit and can feel cooler because of the rainfall.
The Amazon Riverin South America is the largest discharging river of water in the world. At some points the river divides into anabranches (multiple channels) all connected by system of natural canals.

An interesting fact about this river is that a large area of it is so deep that an ocean liner could travel over half its length.

Location and Geography
More than one-third of all species in the world live in the Amazon rainforest. It is the richest forest in the world talking about biodiversity. In addition to the species of fish, the river has crabs, algae, and turtles.
The quantity of water released by the Amazon to the Atlantic Ocean is enormous. The Amazon is responsible for about 20% of the Earth's fresh water that enters the ocean. The river pushes a lot of fresh water into the ocean.
