Right now, there are no treatments for this disease. However, Cholinesterase inhibitors are used to slow the symptoms. Just like the treatments, there are no ways to prevent Alzheimer's. Doctors are however looking into Omega 3 fatty acids.

What is it? Alzheimer's is a progressive mental deterieration that is common in middle or old age people due to a generalized degeneration of the brain.

SymptomsThe symptoms occur in 3 stages and get progressively worse. In the early stage, people start noticing memory problems, thinking problems, poor judgement and confusion of location. The second stage includes mood changes and forget faces. In the final stage, people can't perform simple tasks such as swallowing.
