Alexander Graham Bell

Alexander Graham Bell had two brothers, Melville James Bell and Edward Charles Bell. His mother was Eliza Grace Bell and his father was Alexander Melville Bell. He married Mabel Gardiner Hubbord and had two children, Elsie May Bell and Marian Hubbord Bell. He was born in 1847 in Endinburgh, Scottland. He tought many deaf students. Most of his inventions inclueding the telephone were inspired by the many deaf students he taught.

He invented the telephone and made the first phone call on March 10, 1873. He invented the harmonic telegraph in 1873-1874. He invented the hydrofoil in 1918.

1.In 1878, Rutherford B. Hayes was the first U.S. president to have a telephone in the White House. The first call he made was to Alexander Graham Bell.2.He was given the middle name Graham when he was 11.3.Both of his sons died in infancy.
