Alexander Graham Bell by Dackoda

Alexander Graham Bell is a great person due to the fact that he invented the telephone, though some people have said that Thomas Edison invented it but he invented the Phonograph, which was the world's first way of recording and playing back sound. Mr. Bell is my hero, because he invented the telephone and without the telephone we would not be able to communicate as easily as we do today, not to mention the creation of the cell phone with the high-tech technology that we have. Both his wife and mother were deaf, which inspired him to research hearing, speach and hearing devices.Alexander also invented the metal detector and was one of the founding members of the National Geographic Society. Bell Telephone Company got its name from Alexander Graham Bell. The Bell Telephone Company was created in Boston, Massachusetts in 1877, by Alexander Graham Bell's father-in-law Gardiner Greene Hubbard, who helped start-up company; New England Telephone and Telegraph Company. Graham Bell's family came to Canada to seek treatment for medical illnessess and lived most of his life and died in Canada. We have almost the best invention from a close Canadian hero right here
