Alexander Graham Bell

Alexander Graham Bell married Mabel Gardiner Hubbard on july 11, 1877. She was born on November 25, 1857. they had 4 children, Robert Bell, Elise Bell, Edward Bell and Marian Bell. In 1870 Alexander Graham Bell moved to ontario with his family.

One year after that he moved to boston to be a teacher to deaf mutes, including a student more famously known as Helen Keller. At the time he inveted the harmonic telegraph which was an improvment to the traditional telegraph. Bells idea was that multiple messages could be transmitted through one wire

The first word Alexander Graham Bell said through the phone was "Mr.Watson come here . . . I need to see you". The amount of $100,ooo.oo was turned down by capital westernunion saying it was nothing but a toy. Less than ten years later 150,000 people bought the phone and in 1877 Bell Telepone Company was created.

Alexander Graham Bell later on died on august 2, 1922 due to complications from diabetes . . . thanks to Alexander Graham Bell we now have a way of keeping in touch with family and friends by the way of the telephone and his creation is still around today.

Alexander Graham Bell was the inventor of the telephone in 1915, at the time he was 68 years old. He was born on March 3, 1847, in edinburgh, united kingdom. Bells parents names were Alexander Melville Bell and Eliza Grace Symonds.
