Dame Agatha Mary Clarissa Christie was born in Torquay, England, United Kingdom. Her parents were Fredrick and Clara Miller. Her father worked as an American Stockbroker, and their mother raised the three children. she had two siblings named Margaret Frary Miller and Louis Montant Miller (Monty). Agatha grew up in an Italian-style mansion complete with servents. As a child Agatha loved to read, write, and act out gloomy stories, that she wrote herself, with her friends. She played croquet and took piano lessions. Agatha was extremely shy as a child and young adult. she wanted be be an opera singer but was always to afraid to perform infront of crowds. she was very creative and had a vivid imagination. She created imaginary friends of all kinds. she didn't attend public school. she was mostly alone because she was younger than her sibilings.
