With Or AgainstNow you know the negitive effects and the positive effects. So now all you need to do is pick a side.With Or Against?

I am against the dam because the dam caused nothing but trouble. The dam has some positive effects and some negative effects. Some of the negative effects are- the farmers are using chemicals in the soil, because of the dam the silt doesnt make it to the soil. They flooded an ancient civilization forcing the people who lived there to move, and speices are depleting. That's some reasons why other people are against the dam. The factors that influenced me the most is that the money that went to the dam could've been used for elceticity, jobs, education and more.

The Aswan Dam1. Located in the middle of the Egyptian Desert.2. Built in 19603. Aswan High Dam was built to control the annual flood of the Nile River.

Silt

Positive Effects, the floods were controlled, the farmers got to harvest more crops. It provented droughts, hydrelectricty was produced. That's some of the reasons people are with the dam.
