No one really knows for sure!There is not very much evidence that "Aesop" actually existed. Many ancient fables are credited to the character of Aesop (regardless to if he was actually a real person). Ancient Greek philosophers such as Aristotle and Socrates are sources of the few accounts of Aesop's life.

To this day,Aesop's Fables are being made into children's books, art, videos,and movies.
