[2015] carl chamblee: Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

Adventures of Huckleberry FinnBy: Mark Twain

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is a very eventful book based on a boy and his companions trip down the mississippi river. On this trip you see to sides of intelligence common sense and a formal education. Huckleberry has an abundace of common sense but lacks a formal education being an orphan and an outcast he never really accquired or tried to accquire a education. His companion is jim who is older and black he struggles with race while he is older hucleberry is white and this kind of evens out the decision making power with huckleberry having slightly more power.

The book had many themes which included, maturity, understanding, and racial tolerance. Huckleberry slowly enforces these themes throughout the book questioning his own morals and understanding of society. He is trying to escape "sivilizing" by going west on the mississippi river. Its defintiely an adventure for huckleberry and jim going down the mississippi river.

The characters most important in this book include Huckleberry Finn, Jim, and Tom Sawyer. The reason Tom sawyer is relevant in this book is because before he and huckleberry were companions in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Huckleberry finn is the main character trying to escape society due to his different veiws.

The plot is on the mississippi river traveling down the river on a raft and slowly making his west with his companion jim.

I would recomend this book to anyone who likes this time period and likes a good adventure I would defintley have to say read the Adventures of Tom Sawyer first. It's a great overall book and I really liked it.
