Abraham Lincoln had a strong passion for people. He loved everyone and saw all people, despite the color of their skin, as equals. He fought for blacks to have freedom. Because of Abraham Lincoln's strong moral standards, he lost a lot of friends. He was able to pass a law that allowed blacks to be free and not have to live as slaves. This is a huge accomplishment for a president.
Lasting Impact
Abraham Lincoln changed the lives of African Americans by aboloshing slavery.
