Aaron Copland
This is Aaron Copland he was born on November 14, 1900 in Brooklyn, New York.He Died on December 2,1990His parents were RussiaJews
He used Jewish themes in such composition as Vitebsk for cello, piano and violin.Several of Copland's early works show the influence of French and middle European music of the early 1900s.
Copland wrote volume and autobiography He emphasized jazz in such early works as Music for the Theater for small orchestra, and his Piano Concerto
In 1973-82 there was his last work which was the Proclamation on Piano1918 Night: Vocal A Summer Vacation: Vocal My Heart Is In The East: Vocal
He used jazz elements in his more classical style of music.He wanted to write music that would let you know how it felt to be alive on the streets of Brooklyn
He was in the modern period of music.Copland wrote several books in an effort to promote wider acceptance of modern music.
