A Desired Plan

Neutrality: America chooses not to fight to keep the peace and remain loyal. In the midst of the turmoil in Europe, as totalitarian leader, Hitler gains control over countries that lack the power he does. America establishes neutrality acts with embargos on belligerents, in order to aid those that had been effected by Hitler. In 1941, the Lend-Lease Act was another program supporting countries like China, United Kingdom, USSR and other allied nations with material supplies. Alas, on December 7, 1941 the decision to remain neutral would no longer be in effect.

Life in the 1950s

America spent the next 4 years battling two fronts against Hitler's German forces and the do-or-die Japanese. In this time, America encountered a numerous loss of soldiers, naval ships and aircraft. Despite leaving neutrality behind, America pressed onward and eventually won the war. It was through battles like D-Day, bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, The Third Reich and other key factors that would signify America's importance to entering the war.

As the end of the second World War came to an end, both the Japanese surrending and Hitler executing himself, many changes started to come about. With a time that would forever be knowns as "the baby boomer era," many servicemen came home from the war in hopes to create a family, establish a new job and experience this new found energy that suddenly came about. Through America's intervention in World War Two, the United States encountered a variety of problems that had left many places in poverty. However, it was by specific hardships such as shortages, volunteerism, rationing, and the success of the War Production Board that would benefit future generations. The 1950s brought much fame to music with new rock-n-roll artists, black and white television, being it was the centerpoint in every home and the rise in professional and collegiate sports. America would soon be discovering the growth of the nation as prosperity and new inventions emerged.
