China has a large territory, which makes diversity of cuisines on this land. Roughly, there are eight categroies of cuisines in China, which are know as the Eight Big Cuisines, including the Lu cuisine, Chuan cuisine, Yue cuisine, Su cuisine, Zhe cuisine, Xiang cuisine, Hui cuisine. Every cuisine has its own characteristics which reveal the different ideas on the foods in different region of China.
