Epithelial tissue covers the entire surface of the body and forms the lining for all internal body surfaces. The functions include: providing protetion from outside sources, secretion, and absorption.
The 4 Types of Tissues
1.
Connective tissue can be found under skin, on your bones, and about everywhere else. This tissue functions to anchor, connect, and support the many parts of the body.
2.
Nervous tissue can be found along the spine. The system is in charge of sending signals to the brain and other parts of the body in order to create movement.
There are three types of muscles tissue: smooth, cardiac, and skeletal. Muscles tissue provides body support, is responsible for movement, and produces heat.

I believe muscle tissue is located in the best place for its function. It can be found in three places and has a function based on its location.
