Good Fats: Monounsaturated fats and Polyunsaturated fats. M.fats are usually found in a variety of foods and oils. Eating foods with M. fats have been shown to improve blood cholesterol levels P.fats are usually found in plant-based foods and oils. Eating foods with P. fats can reduce the risk of getting type 2 diabetes.Examples of where M. fats can be found in:Olive Oil, Sesame Oil and in avocadoes. Examples of where P. fats can be found in: Soybean Oil, Corn Oil and Tofu

Bad Fats: Saturated fats are usually found in foods such as animal meat , like beef and pork, dairy products, coconut oil and palm oil. These types of foods when taken in excess, tend to raise cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol is usually found together with polysaturated fats, for example, in dairy products. Too much of polysaturated fats and cholesterol in the diet may cause coronary heart disease.
