3 MUSKETEERS

Athos vs. Aramis-Athos Athos is a nobleman (Comte de la Fère) who had once been very romantic. He had fallen in love with a woman who deceived him. Upon finding her true identity (branded convict), he was forced to lay the law upon her as the ruling lord of his land and kill her. He believed her to be dead, and so became a social recluse by giving up his inheritance and joining the Musketeers. He joined to redeem himself of the murder of his wife.

Athos vs. Aramis-Aramis Aramis is a very arrogant man, portrayed as religious with intentions of becoming an abbé, yet constantly is proud and is concerned of his social image, as seen with his fake gold cloak. He is also constantly running after women. He joins the Musketeers only to impress a woman. He is shown to be unsatisfied with his constant career changes and hypocritical practices.
