ITINERARY DAY 1 • DEPARTURE • Depart for Nice, France DAY 2 • NICE • CAGNES SUR MER • SAINT RAPHAEL • (B/D) After collecting your luggage and making your way through customs, greet a full day guide and coach for transfer to Cagnes sur Mer where you will visit the Renoir Museum. Renoir spent the last 12 years of his life in Cagnes-sur-Mer at the beautiful estate, which overlooks the Cape of Antibes. You’ll enjoy a guided tour of the museum and grounds. Continue on to Saint Raphael for check-in at the hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant Overnight in Saint Raphael DAY 3 • SAINT JEAN CAP FERRAT • VILLEFRANCHE • VENCE • (B/D) Continental Buffet Breakfast at the hotel This morning, greet coach for transfer to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat where you will enjoy a tour of the Villa et Jardins Ephrussi de Rothschild (audio-guide included). The villa was home to Baroness Beatrice de Rothschild until her death in 1934 at which time it became a museum. From there, continue to Villefranche for some time to find lunch at your leisure. This afternoon travel to St. Paul de Vence where you will enjoy a self-guided visit of the collection at the Maeght Foundation. Afterwards, transfer to Vence for a visit at The Rosary Chapel, which was conceived and decorated by Henri Matisse. Return transfer to the hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant Overnight in Saint Raphael DAY 4 • AIX EN PROVENCE • (B) Continental Buffet Breakfast at the hotel This morning, greet your coach for transfer to Aix en Provence, former capital of Provence and the city where Cezanne was born and died. Upon arrival, greet a local guide for a walking tour, “In the Steps of Cezanne” which will take you through sites that were significant in his life and will end with a guided visit at his studio. Enjoy the balance of your afternoon exploring Aix-en-Provence at your leisure. Return transfer to the hotel. Dinner at your leisure Overnight in Saint Raphael DAY 5 • ANTIBES • BIOT • (B/D) Continental Buffet Breakfast at the hotel Greet your coach for transfer to Antibes where you’ll enjoy a visit at the Picasso Museum, housed in the 12th-century Chateau Grimaldi. You’ll have some time in Antibes to find lunch on your own before continuing on to Biot. There, you’ll enjoy a self-guided visit at the Fernand Leger Museum which contains over 348 original artworks from the artist who created his own unique brand of Cubism. Visit includes audio-guides. Return transfer to the hotel. Farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Saint Raphael DAY 6 • NICE • BARCELONA • (B) Continental Buffet Breakfast at the hotel Greet coach for transfer to Nice where you will enjoy a guided visit at the Matisse Museum. Transfer to the airport where you will board an afternoon flight to Barcelona. Upon your arrival, greet your private coach and assistant at the airport, and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Dinner at your leisure. Overnight in Barcelona DAY 7 • BARCELONA • (B/D) Continental Buffet Breakfast at the hotel After breakfast, join your local guide on a walking tour through the Barrio Gótico, the fascinating medieval quarter representing many centuries of Spanish architectural history. Visit Antonio Gaudí's greatest and most enduring masterpiece, La Sagrada Familia, which is expected to be completed in 2026, at the 100th anniversary of Gaudi’s death. This afternoon, enjoy a self-guided visit at the Picasso Museum. This former 15th century castle now houses the most important collection of paintings, drawings and sketches from the early years of the great artist. Enjoy dinner at a local tapas restaurant. Overnight in Barcelona DAY 8 • BARCELONA • (B) Continental Buffet Breakfast at the hotel Enjoy a morning at leisure to explore with your group leaders. Perhaps you’ll visit Montjuic Castle, or spend some time wandering La Boqueria. This afternoon, you’ll immerse yourselves into Gaudi once more, with visits to La Padrera (includes audio guide) and the nearby Casa Battlo (entrance includes Smart Guide). Return to the hotel at your leisure. Dinner at your leisure Overnight in Barcelona DAY 9 • MONTSERRAT • FIGUERES • (B/D) Continental Buffet Breakfast at the hotel Today, enjoy a full-day scenic excursion with your group leaders. First, visit Sierra de Montserrat, the famous Benedictine monastery, set at the top of a ravine surrounded by knobby peaks. View its great treasure, the Black Madonna. Afterwards, continue north to Figueres, birthplace of Salvador Dali. Upon arrival, visit the Dali Theatre-Museum where you’ll enjoy a self-guided tour. Transfer to the hotel for check-in and overnight. Dinner at a local restaurant Overnight in Figueres DAY 10 • FIGUERES • CADAQUES • BARCELONA • (B) Continental Buffet Breakfast at the hotel This morning, greet a local guide for a walking tour of the Old Town including the Jewish Quarter. Board the coach for transfer to Cadaques where you will visit Portlligat, the home where Dali lived and worked for most of his life. (Please Note: visits are limited to 8 people at a time, so the group will be divided.) Board coach for return transfer to Barcelona where you will check in at the hotel upon arrival. Dinner at your leisure. Overnight in Barcelona DAY 11 • BARCELONA • (B/D) Continental Buffet Breakfast at the hotel This morning, greet a local guide and transfer via public transport to Parc Guell, the hilltop park that Antoni Gaudi spent 15-years designing and building. You will enjoy a tour of the Monumental Zone with your guide. Don't miss the twisting mosaic bench – the longest bench in the world! Enjoy the balance of your day at leisure. Farewell dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Barcelona DAY 12 • RETURN • (B) Continental Buffet Breakfast at the hotel Greet coach and assistant for transfer to the airport.
