Anthony, Dwight Eisenhower, Martin Luther King Jr.#10: Civic Ideals and Practices- By students identifying the accomplishements of Martin Luther King Jr., they will begin to understand equal rights for all citizens and their basic freedoms. For example, Martin Luther King Jr. fought for equal rights for African Americans. Students will compare and contrast civil rights of 1968 and of 2013. Students will analyze the relationships between these ideals and practices.
