When the British made their secret plan, Dr. Joesph Warren sent out Paul Revere and William Dawes to tell Samuel Adams and John Hancock the British were coming because they were going to kill them. Then when the British got to Lexington, they came across about 80 militiamen.

In the Battle of Lexington and Concord was the most fierce battle of the Revolutionary War. In Lexington, General Thomas Gage was the leader of the British. Cap. John Parker was the leader of the Colonists. They were both hard fighting men during this battle.

The Battle of Lexington and Concord was the first battle of the American Revolutionary War. It was between the Colonists and the British. In Lexington, the British won. But in Concord, the Colonists finished the battle.
