1. Saint Vincent de Paul founded the first conference of charity for the assistance of the poor at serval missions.2. He went to the galleys in Paris to speak to the convicts in misery and created relationships with them.3. He gave the galley of Bordeaux a mission and planned to build them a hospital.4. Saint Vincent de Paul helped to establish eleven seminaries and his congregation directed 1/3 of all the seminaries in France.5. He established the Daughters of Charity which consisted of women who came together to visit the poor and imprisoned.6. Saint Vincent de Paul founded the Hospice of the Name of Jesus which provided shelter and jobs for those in need.7. He helped to distribute 15,000 to 16,000 bowls of soup daily to poor and refugees in Paris's parishes.8. Saint vincent de Paul demonstrated God's love and mercy by caring for those in need and respecting the dignity of all humans.9. His actions demontrated how impactful the Church can be towards helping those who are poor and vulernable.10. We can continue the work of Saint Vincenr de Paul by volunteering at homeless shelters or even just in our local community by giving what we can to do the work of God.
