Literacy autobiography

Reading has become a huge part of my life in the last ten or so years. Reading used to be a chore for me, but now the smell of a brand new book is enough to make my heart skip a beat. However, reading in school always seems like a chore, even if I enjoy the book. I do not like being given a time frame and forced to read. Reading needs to be a relaxing and enjoyable time, not stressful and on a schedule. Books are a way for people to get lost in an imaginary world and forget about everything that is going on around them. People are able to fall in love, feel pain, feel passion, grow inspired, and go through everything the characters are when they immerse themselves in good book.

1. I hated reading until I was thirteen2. I found the book, Amazing Grace, and everything changed3. I began reading all of the dramatic preteen and teenage books that were full of juicy gossip.4. As I got older, I became fascinated with books that were full of emotion.5. I want to feel what the characters are feeling
