History Of My Lifetime

2003Major Event #1: Arnold Schwarzenegger becomes the governor of California on October 7, 2003. When he ran for governor again in 2006 he was re-elected. Arnold was a movie star and body builder and is now a millionaire and no longer the governor of California. Major Event #2: Bethany Hamilton, a 13 year old has her left arm bitten off while surfing in Hawaii USA. Bethany is a professional surfer and although the loss of her arm did make it more difficult for her to surf she still continued on surfing. She was attacked on October 31, 2003 in the morning by a 14 foot tiger shark.

Major Events

2004 I went traveling all over Europe and went to about 6 countries. I went to Europe to celebrate my grandpa’s retirement and we traveled to France, Ireland, England, Scotland, and Amsterdam.

2005I went skiing for the first time ever in Breckenridge Colorado. Skiing is now one of my favorite activities and I love to do it whenever it is posible

Personal History

2006 I went to preschool. I went to preschool at St. Louis preschool where my brother had also gone but I changed schools in kindergarden.

2007I started kindergarten at Superior Elementary School my school for the next 6 years.

2002On June 26,2002 I was born at Avista Hospital in Lousiville, Colorado at 1:44 am

2003 For the first time ever I went to Maine, USA. My grandparents live in Maine and I travel there frequently.

2008I went to Alaska on a cruise with my grandparents celebrating their 30 year anniversary.

2009 I went to Disneyland for the first time ever and the only time. I haven’t been since, not because it was a bad experience but because we just haven’t found enough time to go.

2010We moved to Phoenix, Arizona for the summer but then moved back. We were moving out there because of the job oppourtunities but eventually found some back home.

2011I started liking One Direction. One Direction was, at the time, a 5 membered boy band that has great songs and all the guys are nice.

2012I got a lead role in the school musical; The AristoCats, I played Scat Cat.

2013 I played volleyball on a club team for the first time. The name of the club is Flatirons Volleyball Club and is apart of a competitive volleyball club league.

2014I broke my thumb on June 12, 2014 the first bone that I have ever fractured. I was biking home on the sidewalk and my tire slipped resulting with me fracturing my thumb

2015I went to a One Direction concert in Chicago on August 23, 2015. I went with one of my best friends, Kathryn, and her sister, Nancy.

2004Major event #1: Lance Armstrong wins 6th consecutive Tour De France. Lance Armstrong was a 7 consecutive Tour De France winner but in 2012 Lance was stripped from all his victories because of his doping scandal. Lance was diagnosed with testicular cancer on October 2, 1996 and had a very slim chance of beating the cancer but he beat it and then went on with his dream of professional bike racing at the Tour De France and won 7 races in a row. Major Event #2: George W. Bush was re elected to be president of the United States of America. This was George’s second term as president for the USA. In 2004 George W. Bush was 58 years old.

2002Major Event #1: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother dies. On April 9, 2002 Queen Elizabeth’s funeral took place in Westminster Abbey although she died on March 30, 2002. Her full name is Elizabeth Angela Marguerite Bowes-Lyon. She was married to George VI and has three children; Elizabeth II, Princess Margaret, and Countess of Snowdon.Major Event #2: The No Child Left Behind Act was passed on January 8, 2002. The No Child Left Behind Act was a legislative law saying that disadvantaged children still have access to education. President George W. Bush was the one who passed the No Child Left Behind Act.
