How to lower high cholesterol 1.Eat heart healthy foods- Choose healthier fats, eliminate trans fat, each foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, increase soluble fiber,add whey protein2. Exercise most days of the week- 30 min of exercise a day (Ride a bike, swim, play your favorite sport) 3. Quit smoking if you do smoke 4.Lose weight- Loosing as little as 5 to 10 percent of your weight can improve cholesterol levels.
