He attended pasaden junior colledge. He set a record for the longest long jump in school history. Jackie Robinson recived a scholarship to University of California Los Angeles [UCLA]. He was a star on the UCLA track team. From
1942-1944 jackie robinson was on the united states army. In 1944 he started playing baseball profeshinaly in the negro leagus. He was drafted to the brooklyn dodgers as the first black baseball player. He played in major league baseball [MLB].
In 1919 jackie robinson was born. He was born on a Georgia farm. His father left his family when jackie robinson was only one year old. His mother was left with 5 children to take care of. He then moved to pasadena california. He lived with his uncle and his mom in california. Life was hrd in california for him because black people where not treated fairly.
