Fossil Fuels now provide about 87% of all commercial energy in the world.Nuclear power is roughly equal to hydroelectricity worldwide about 6% of all commercial energy, but it makes up about 20% of all electric power in more-developed countries, such as Canada & the United States. Worldwide commercial energy consumption does not include energy collected for personal use of traded in informal markets.Energy consumption is linked to the comfort & convenience of our lives. Producing & transporting energy also consumes & wastes energy.Residential & Commercial customers use roughly 37% of the primary energy consumed in the United States, mostly for space heating, air conditioning, lighting, water healing.
