Scientific Name: Physignathus lesueurii The Eastern Water Dragon grows to around 80-90cm in length, it has a very long tail which helps it to swim. It can be shades of grey, brown, black and creamy-white.

It eats bugs, small animals and fruit

HabitatThe Eastern Water Dragon lives in the Australian bush near creeks and rivers. You can find them in northern Queensland and Gippsland
