Test Glog

- Convection is movement in a gas or liquid in which the warmer parts move up and the colder parts move down, and is alse the transfer of heat by this movement.

Convection

Convection , conduction.

- Conduction is the transfer of heat from one molecule to another through a substance

Conduction

How is energy transfered in convection?

- energy is transfered by the mass motion of molecules.-the transfer of heat by the circulation or movement of the heated parts of a liquid or gas.

How is energy transfered in conduction?

- Heat energy can move through a substance by conduction. Metals are good conductors of heat, but non-metals and gases are usually poor conductors of heat- energy is also transfered by direct contact to an object.
