Desert

Taiga

Desert plants adapted pointy and less leaves to hold in water. The desert reptiles are nocturnal and travel while the night is cool. Also, the reptiles hold in more water from being cold blooded. The mammals, on the other hand, adapt to have large ears to reduce over heating.

Tundra

The leaves in the taiga are needle-like with downward sloping branches so snow falls without any tree branches breaking. The animals are camouflauged in their surroundings. Many of the animals have large paws for burrowing and most animals hybernate.

The tundra plants have shallow roots to not die from thirst. Also, the plants grow low to the ground while growing at a rapid pace. The tundra animals are migratory and they travel in herds for protection. The animals also camouflauge into their surroundings to catch their prey more easily.

Temporate Deciduous Forest

The temporate deciduous forest plants loses their leaves to avoid freezing because branches would snap if snow were to be on them. This causes the plants to have a shorter growing season. The animals migrate over winter and they also hibernate to avoid starvation.
