Mamals Mamals have fur and are warm blooded. They give birth to live young, and feed them with their own milk. (page 82) What do bats and humans have in common?

Before we begin our lesson on traits and characteristics of animals, take some time to page through Animalium and explore this Glogster. Find something that intersts you and write about it your science journal before class (3/2/2016).

The greek word amphibios means "living both in water and on land." They are cold blooded, lay eggs, and tend to live in freshwater environments. (page 34)Check out the vocal sack on that Rhinoderma darwinii (Darwin's Frog pictured left)Other cool amphibians include the Alpine newt, and Cerro Pando salamander. Can you find these in the book?
