''THE CELL' August 2008 Phase 3: - Education - Taking drugs impairs your driving ability (ecstasy/speed)This campaign opens on a young male in a jail cell, obviously distressed. The young male is thinking about the night's earlier events. We see him accept a pill from a friend at a club, and later get in a car with his mates. His driving is impaired as he rides over a roundabout, runs a red light and finally hits a young lady on a pedestrian crossing. The commercial closes again on him in the jail cell. This campaign focuses on the consequences of taking drugs whilst driving. The target audience in this campaign is aimed towards everyone, but mainly the younger audience who can be pressured into taking drugs at parties, clubs, etc. This campaign was a previous ad which appeared on television. In this campaign, I have noticed they have had to limit the images (shots) used, to be less graphic for the audience.
