Hidalgo and his advisors directed Indians in the parish to manufacture weapons, fought Royalist Army near Guadalajara because they got defeated. Led followers in fight towards Zacateras and Hidalgo got captured there
Didn't accomplish much. They won the battle at Monte de la Cruces and Hidalgo gave his famous speech "Grito de Dolores".
The Hidalgo revolt accomplished very little, except to unite the rest of Mexico against it. It lasted nearly 6 months.
