The Global Classroom Project
September 2011 - June 2012
The Global Classroom Project is a space for teachers and students around the world to share, learn, and collaborate across international borders. Over the next year, we are hosting a range of K-12 projects, cultural exchanges, and global conversations involving over 300 teachers (and thousands of students) from 34 countries across 6 continents. Care to join us?
“I want to learn and grow with other educators and students around the world"
"I'd like our students to truly understand that they are members of a global society and [explore] how technology can be used to learn and share ideas around the world"
"I want our students to understand that there is so much more than our small community and our small state. I want them to connect with other students with similar interests, but with entirely different backgrounds and experiences."
“I want to connect with other educators to expand my world, to shake up my thinking, to help me change and improve my current practices. I want to see through the eyes of my colleagues"
