Hawaii's nickname and motto mean a lot to their state. The state nick name being The Aloha State (loosely translated to The Hello State) is known as this because of the strong belief of kindness an,wd happy greatings. The motto is Ua mau ke ea o ka aina i ka ponoe which is translated in english as ("The life of the land is perpetuate by righteousness") which means that the land and area of Hawaii is made of fair, trust, and ONLY legal events and choices.

Hawaii has many great symbols including the beautiful, yellow hibiscus flower. (translated in hawaiian (Ma'o hau hele). Also there is the Megaptera Novaeangliae, Better known as the Humpback Whale. One more Hawaiian symbol is the Humuhumunukunukuapua'a, or the rectangular trigger fish which is hawaii's beautiful state fish. The last but most important symbol is the Hawaiian flag. each stripe on the flag is useed to reperesent the 7 main islands and the colors Red white and blue are for representing the american flag! :)
