Marigold Exam Lab

My Lab Setup!!!!

My Hypothesis: I believe that the red light bulb mixed with the clear light bulb will make the plant grow more slowly than the clear light bulb by itself because the clear light bulb is supposed to represent the sun. And since the sun is not red like the red light bulb is, the plant will not get the same nutrients that it would get from just the clear light bulb.

Lab Procedure: Day One: Recieve two marigold plants and lab supplies. Record data and any observations in data table. Day Four: Check on marigolds. Record any data and observations. Day Six: Check on marigolds. Reccord any data and observations. Day Eight: Check on marigolds. Record any data and observations. Day Eleven: Check on marigolds. Record any data and observations. Day Thirteen: Check on marigolds. Record any data or observations.

My Variables: Manipulated Variables: the color of the lightbulb. Responding Variables: The plant's growth. Controlled Variables: The fertilizer used, and the amount of water given

The problem: Will a red growth bulb or a clear growth bulb make a marigold grow faster?
