Gaint Panda

The giant panda's habitat is on the mountainous edge's of Central West and Southwest China. Before farming and growth in population the giant panda lived in lowland areas of china's interior. Giant pandas live in rainy bamboo forests. 1,200 to 3,100 meters above sea level.

Some biotic factors of a panda are ; The female panda is only able to mate once a year during a two-day estrous cycle. Biotic factor 2: due to human poplution increasing the terriorty of pandas has been transformed into other uses. This prevents the panda's from moving around and providing food for the their cubs. biotic factor 3:human farming has eliminated large tracts of bamboo which is the pandas main source of food.

Abiotic factors 1st: There is many industrail pollution that may contain harmful elements that could effect and have serious consquences with reproduction. Meaning that cubs can be deformed or unhealthy. 2nd: Climate change could have a problem pandas are used to there habitat if they weather started decreasing or increasing they would be foced to change their lifestyle.

A panda can live up to 30 years when it is in captivity, but only 15 to 20 years in wild. A panda is born small , blind,white and helpless. The mother stays with her newborn for two years. After a few weeks the cub grows gray hair that turns into black which gives the panda it pattern on it coat. A giant panda weigh about 45kg(100lb) at one year. Random fact: Panda's are able to breed at sex years old. The rate of reproduction is one every two years sometimes.
