Butterflies in My Stomach and Other School Hazards By Serge Bloch

Has the idea of the first day of school ever given you butterflies in your stomach? Welcome to a topsy-turvy world where it sometimes rains cats and dogs . . . but every cloud has a silver lining.

We will practice what idioms are together. Try to look for idioms in the story and see if you can point some out. What do you think these idioms really mean?
